. . . and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another . . . (Hebrews 10: 24 & 25 – New American Standard Bible translation)
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near. (Hebrews 10: 24 & 25 – New Living Bible translation)
Whichever translation brings clarity of this Bible scripture to you, look to the Connections Ministry Team for its purpose of encouraging everyone at Village Bible Church to become involved in one or more of the church’s programs. Each of us is challenged to glorify God by making disciples who become growing and serving followers of Jesus Christ.
From greeting guests (our gifts from God) to worship, fellowship, a small group, women’s and men’s ministries, deacons and deaconesses ministries, outreach, various Bible study classes, trustee activities, mission ministry and care ministry, there is plenty to do. And it is fun and uplifting as we learn further how Christ wants us to serve Him.
