Join Take-A-Hike this month . . . Saturday, February 28—We will hike the Cedar Creek Trail at Petit John State Park on February 28th. We will meet at the East Gate strip mall at 8:30am and car pool to the park from there. Lunch will be at Mather Lodge at the park. For more information, contact the office at office@vbchsv.org.

The VBC Hiking Club “Take-A-Hike” was formed so that our members can make friends as we discover God’s spectacular creation and grow closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. We have a devotional out on the trail to keep us mindful of our great God!

These classes are taught by the Elders of the church and will give you an orientation on the history, philosophy, and doctrinal position of this church. There is also an opportunity to ask questions. You will receive an “All Things VBC” packet along with this class. This class is for information only and does not obligate you to become a member. The next DISCOVER VBC! class will be held on Sundays, January 25th & February 1st, during the Bible Study time at 10:30 am. Call office to reserve your space (501-922-0404).

GriefShare's Surviving the Holidays is a two-hour event designed to help people grieving a loss navigate the holiday season. It includes a video seminar with expert advice and other people's experiences, small-group discussions to share feelings, and a "Holiday Survival Guide" with practical tips on coping with emotions, social events, and traditions. The event is offered both online and in person, and its goal is to help grieving individuals find hope and support during a difficult time. For more information call

The course teaches proven driving techniques to help keep you and your loved ones safe on the road. You’ll learn important facts about the effects of medication on driving; how to reduce driver distractions; how to maintain the proper following distance; proper use of seatbelts, air bags, anti-lock brakes and new technology in cars today; tech-niques for handling left turns, right-of-way, and roundabouts; and age-related physical changes and how to adjust your driving to compensate.
