Tuesday, June 18th ONLY

2 Chr. 7:16—What’s in a name?-If it’s God’s name, it’s His character, attributes and nature. It’s WHO He is. Do you know your God as He introduces Himself in the Old Testament? What about Jesus? Do you believe what God says about Himself? You have to know to believe! Do you know where God the Father has placed His name forever? What about God the Son, and the Holy Sprit? What’s your favorite name of God, and song about the name of God? Do you know He will have a new Name (and so will you)?

Tuesday, June 25th ONLY

The Sabbath is the link between the paradise which has passed away and the paradise which is yet to come”.  Andrew Wylie

Matthew 12:1-14 -Are you weary? Feeling burned out? Need rest? Let’s study what Jesus teaches us in Matthew 12:1-4, and then recalculate what we know about Sabbath and what our Savior wants for us in rest! Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.” Mark 2:27

“The happiness of heaven is keeping of Sabbath. Heaven is called a Sabbath, and those who long for heaven love the Sabbath.”  Phillip Henry

Tuesday, July 2nd ONLY

Isaiah 6 (the year of King Uzziah’s death) —The Shekinah presence of Almighty God, the Seraphim, and Isaiah all met together in one place, at one time, for one special purpose. Isaiah describes, verse by verse, line by line, his face-to-face encounter with the Holy God. He then relays God’s special message to him and to all His children. Come and join us as we journey through this glorious Scripture.

Tuesday, July 9th ONLY

John 17—When something matters to Jesus, do you suppose we should ‘listen up’? With time running out on what some might call the worst night of Jesus’ life here on earth, Jesus prayed—for you and me. Have you ever heard someone pray for you? Would you like to know what Jesus prayed for you? Out of all the things Jesus could have prayed for on that night, you may be surprised at His focus. We are privileged to get a glimpse of the communication which constantly passes between the Lord Jesus and our Father in Heaven. We will note what was not included in Jesus’ prayer for us, and what WAS included in His prayer for us.

Tuesday, August 6th ONLY

Isaiah 58:1-11, Matthew 6:16-18—Ann Graham Lotz said “While in prayer we turn to God; in fasting we turn away from everything else.” Fasting is associated most often with abstaining from food, but it can also be abstinence from business, emails, phone calls, ministry, entertainment, meetings, housework, shopping and cooking. Prayer and fasting enables you to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit by deepening and strengthening your relationship with your Abba Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Your life will be changed in ways above and beyond what you can imagine.

Wednesday, August 14th ONLY, 10:30-Noon

Ephesians 6:10-20—The spiritual realm is very real and all the more proof we need to stand firm in the armor of God; which literally is putting on Christ and being in His Word and praying, fasting and seeking Him continually. Too much of the pleasures of the earth nullify our thirst for righteousness, and that has always been Satan’s plan. We have an armor that God has given us, but how do we actually get it into our arsenal? What kind of warfare do we prepare for? How do we put it on? Come as we plant ourselves and stand in the power of the Holy Spirit.
