Every year, on the first Friday in December, our Christmas concert is a wonderful tradition. This year’s concert will be held  December 7th at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm.  The theme is “Christmas in the Village.” The choir is working hard on some new songs and a mix of songs from the past. Each year there is a special time where the audience will sing along with familiar Christmas carols and several of the songs at the beginning of the concert will focus on the angels appearing to the shepherds, announcing the Savior’s birth.     

We have some new choir members who have joined us this season. Our guest soloists will be our very own Mary Buffington, leading out on a couple of rousing tunes.  Rebecca Seewald will be singing a song new to the VBC choir. DeWayne Adcock has written and arranged a couple of pieces and is helping sing an original song that will be led by a trio and backed up by the choir. Pastor Jason will be sharing a devotional. There are many in the community that look forward to this concert annually. We will also have homemade cookies and candy after each concert!
